Place of ageing

10 years. SR1713, the result of a very specific ageing approach, has been stored in cask 12DAG since August 20 2013, in the Cantina Garibaldi, 121 metres from the sea.

Organoleptic properties

A Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco with notes of dates and pastry cream. Light tannins on the palate enhance the notes of raisins and vanilla, with a slight root aftertaste. It has intense aromas and a rich, lingering finish that evolves into hints of date. Perfect paired with blue cheeses such as gorgonzola or sweet and sour flavours.

Storage Tips

Marsala Florio bottles historically use the classic “bar top” cap, it is therefore recommended to store the bottles in a vertical position.
