Place of ageing

15 years of ageing. This Marsala Semisecco Superiore Riserva has been ageing in old wooden kegs and casks since 25 January 2008 and, since 25 March 2019, in cask 24FL at Cantina Florio.

Organoleptic properties

A Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco with notes of pastry cream, raisins and vanilla. Evolving notes of candied fruit, dates, chestnuts and hazelnuts on the palate, enriched with a slight hint of liquorice and bitter cocoa. It is ideal paired with cheeses and refined dishes with a smooth taste.

Storage Tips

Marsala Florio bottles historically use the classic “bar top” cap, it is therefore recommended to store the bottles in a vertical position.
